Each year, members of the Community Foundation’s dollar-a-day giving circle choose a topical and resonant grantmaking theme and, after hearing from grant finalist organizations, vote to award annual grants—which in 2026 will total $60,000.
The 2026 GiVE 365 grant theme Nourished Communities supports initiatives that build food access and community connection through homegrown solutions.

Dear GiVE 365 Community,
As we prepare for the GiVE 365 Finals on April 9, I want to take a moment to reflect on the powerful work unfolding across Memphis and the role each of you plays in bringing it to life.
This year’s theme, Nourished Communities, speaks to something deeply human and urgent: access to food and connection within our neighborhoods.
Across Memphis, food insecurity remains a daily reality for many families, particularly in communities facing long-standing barriers such as limited grocery access, rising costs, and disruptions to assistance programs. While emergency support remains essential, we are witnessing a powerful shift toward community-rooted, sustainable solutions.

As we move toward the Finals, I encourage you to stay engaged:
This is a movement toward a Memphis where access, opportunity, and care are not limited by ZIP code. Thank you for your continued generosity and belief in what is possible when we invest in community.
We look forward to seeing you on April 9!
With appreciation,
Dr. Mary “MJ” McConner
GiVE 365 Advisory Team Chair
