PUBLICLY-TRADED SECURITIES
In order to receive a fair market value income tax deduction, you must have owned the stock for longer than one year prior to making a gift. When making a gift of stock, email [email protected] so that we are aware of your incoming gift and can provide you further detailed instruction.

The deadlines for making grant recommendations are the 10th and 24th of each month. The approved grants will mail on the 15th and at the end of each month. The intervals are necessary to allow time for staff research, processing, and approval by the Community Foundation Board of Governors.
Yes; a grantee organization must have its IRS 501(c)(3) status, and a grant recommendation must be for a charitable purpose and
be consistent with the Community Foundation’s mission. Read our Grant Due Diligence Policy here.

We are always here to respond to your feedback, and we’re pleased to share our latest Donor Perception Report, which demonstrates how donor experiences and expectations have evolved over time.
We are excited that in summer 2026 the Community Foundation will complete a complete renovation of our home for the past 27 years, 1900 Union Avenue. Due to the complexity of the work, we have temporarily relocated to Crosstown Concourse during construction.
