Creating meaningful, lasting impact

The Lichterman Loewenberg Foundation Fund welcomes opportunities to explore philanthropic investments in nonprofit organizations that align with the family’s mission statement, below.

They are passionate about supporting initiatives that reflect their core values and create meaningful, lasting impact within the community and beyond.

Family, community, and continuity are the underlying principles of the Lichterman Loewenberg Foundation Fund. The fund honors its founders, William A. Loewenberg and Ira J. Lichterman, by continuing to support the agencies that were of special interest to them, particularly those that serve the Jewish community, and by commemorating their spirit of generous service.

The fund primarily supports projects that will improve the quality of life in Memphis, making commitments to agencies whose work will provide lasting improvements in our community. Youth services and education are top priorities because the family believes that children are the best hope for a brighter future.
