LIVEGIVEmidsouth FAQ
Answers to common questions about nonprofit eligibility, profile requirements, donations, and participation in LIVEGIVEmidsouth.
LIVEGIVEmidsouth is a free, online community information system and an initiative of the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. The site houses 100+ indicators from public data sources (such as American Communities Survey, Shelby County Health Department, and Tennessee Department of Education) and a directory of nonprofit organizations working in our region.
Organizations must:
- Be a 501(c)(3) or fiscally sponsored nonprofit.
- Primarily serve our tri-state region. (West Tennessee, Eastern Arkansas, and Northern Mississippi).
Note: Churches and other places of worship are not eligible unless they run a community-serving program with a distinct name and mission (e.g., food pantry, tutoring center).
Your profile request is currently in our review queue. If it’s been more than 24 business hours, please submit a ticket through the LIVEGIVEmidsouth Help Desk so we can manually review and approve your submission: Submit a Ticket
Once approved, you’ll be able to log in and begin building your organization’s profile.
- Go to the Organizational Profile tab.
- Use the dropdown menu in the top right to select “All Fields.”
- Edit and click “Save AND Submit” in each section to submit updates for review.
That just means we haven’t approved them yet. Hang tight—or reach out via the Help Desk if it’s been more than 3–5 business days.
Yes! Submit a ticket on the Help Desk and we’ll resend your profile invite or help troubleshoot.
If you’ve submitted your updates and still don’t see your organization listed, it’s likely still under review. Please submit a ticket through the LIVEGIVEmidsouth Help Desk so we can look into it: Submit a Ticket
Our team reviews and publishes approved updates regularly. You’ll receive a confirmation once your profile is live.
Once your organization has submitted your profile for review, it can take up to four business days for our staff to review your submission and publish it to the directory. If you have questions about your profile status, please submit a ticket through the help desk here.
