Peer-to-Peer Fundraising for Black Philanthropy Month
As part of Black Philanthropy Month, the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis invites Black-led nonprofit leaders to join us for a workshop focused on strengthening fundraising capacity and donor engagement.
The session opens with an overview of Black Philanthropy Month and its significance for the nonprofit sector. The Community Foundation’s donor engagement team will then share insights into how the Foundation connects with and supports its donor community.
Then, local development expert and Gaskill Strategies Senior Account Manager Linda McNeil will lead a hands-on workshop on fundraising best practices, with a focus on peer-to-peer fundraising strategies nonprofits can put into action right away.

The workshop closes with a walkthrough of LIVEGIVEmidsouth nonprofit profiles and an opportunity to ask questions. One-on-one sessions will also be available for organizations wanting individualized support.
